Founded in 2014 out of a desire to create effective and nurturing hair care solutions, NOMAKADE™ is the brainchild of a passionate self-taught formulator and manufacturer. Frustrated with the lack of quality natural hair products available, our founder began crafting her own formulations. What started as a personal project quickly gained traction through word of mouth, leading to the establishment of NOMAKADE™ in 2015. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to providing cruelty-free, SABS-approved products made locally in South Africa.
NOMAKADE™ seeks to inspire self-confidence and self-love, especially among young black girls and women. We aim to familiarize young black girls with their beautiful natural coils and teach them how to care for their hair. By challenging the notion that natural hair is difficult to manage, we promote a passion for nurturing natural coily hair, fostering confidence and pride in one’s natural beauty.
